Friends, sorry I haven't been posting. Just not in the mood. My mom is dealing with Stage IV ovarian cancer and it hasn't been a pretty picture so far but she's still with us, holding her own with a lot of medical support and her family close. I really am too tired to even go into the details here. Just know that I'll be back once I get wind back in my sails. I have lots of farm adventures to tell you about and a few creative things I'm working on too. Until then....take care.
Happy trails.
I am praying for your family to get thru this time with peace and grace. I know how hard it is but just know that I am with you in spirit. If there is any time you wish to talk just let me know - I have been down your path and am here for you. Blessings and keep your self safe.

ReplyDeleteOh Dear Jami,
ReplyDeleteremembering you and your Mother in prayer. Do NOT forget to take care of you; it's simply too easy to forget oneself when another has such great needs but you must take care of you as well.
God's blessings on you and your Mother.
Thank you friends. It means a lot to me, truly! You don't realize how much the support means until the chips are down and you are unable to say a prayer or think straight to say one "right". Do you know what I mean? Out of whack.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you all.
Jami...so sorry to hear of your mom's illness. I lost my sister last year to cervical cancer and I was her primary caregiver, so I know what you are all going through. I will be sending good thoughts your way. Just do the best you can..you are giving her a gift just by being around to help.
ReplyDeleteyour friend,
Janet
Keeping you/yours still tucked into prayer. Keep the faith, Jami.
